This was a great documentary, thank you for the research and analysis of this project. I am from North Carolina, USA, my family emigrated here in the early eighteenth century and I'm descended from Anglo-Saxon blood. My family name is Belk, which, in SEVERAL Indo-European languages means balk, beam (unfinished timber for the purpose of structural support , framing or boat-making). In OE, it means a bank or ridge, but also arrogance or pride, depending on the noun's case. I wish I had the ability or sources to research my family prior to coming to America. I'm an Army linguist and culture is my passion. Thank you very much, hopefully I can make it to my ancestral land someday soon.
